Letter to the Editor: Support Lebanon Recovery Housing.

This Letter to the Editor was published in the Valley News on February 28, 2025.

I am writing to express my full support for Lebanon’s efforts to ensure the accommodation and integration of recovery homes for individuals with substance use disorders. TLC’s ongoing work in Lebanon has made it abundantly clear that there is a critical need for comprehensive substance use care and treatment services, a robust recovery community and secure housing options for those affected by substance use disorder.

The initiatives led by the City of Lebanon demonstrate a proactive approach in addressing these urgent needs, and we deeply appreciate the commitment to enhancing recovery services and providing a safe, supportive environment for those seeking to rebuild their lives. These efforts are crucial not only for the well-being of individuals in recovery but also for the broader community as they foster healing, stability, and long-term success.

TLC stands firmly behind these efforts, recognizing the immense positive impact they will have on the lives of many. We commend the city for its thoughtful approach in supporting recovery homes and their residents, and we look forward to continuing to work together in the shared goal of creating a healthier, more inclusive community.
