We are thrilled to share that Zoning Article #2 passed in yesterday’s municipal elections in Lebanon! 1114 voters (73%) approved of the measure, and 401 (27%) disapproved.
Thank you to the City of Lebanon for showing its support for the recovery community. We are especially grateful to all the volunteers who wrote letters, helped run the community conversation, put up road signs, and more.
Though this ballot measure has been passed, the work isn’t over to make sure that all people in recovery have the supportive housing and other services they deserve. TLC Family Resource Center has been doing excellent work in providing recovery programs in the Lebanon and Claremont areas. And of course, Housing First will continue to promote affordable housing throughout the Upper Valley Region. Our next monthly meeting is on Friday, March 14 — more detail on how to get on the invite list here.
